Biography
As a member of the Government Affairs team, Charlotte supports NELP’s federal advocacy goals by building relationships with key stakeholders and strategizing NELP’s engagement with congressional offices and administrative agencies. Charlotte grounds her work in the belief that good advocacy and policy centers workers and families by making connections to the economic, racial, and gender lived experiences that sit at the center of our lives for people with the power to make real change.
Charlotte’s background includes advocacy, government affairs, and policy work around advancing Home and Community Based Services (HCBS), Paid Family and Medical Leave, childcare and early learning, and the care workforce from a racial and gender equity lens. Prior to joining NELP she was most recently with Caring Across Generations, where she managed a portfolio of advocacy and government affairs work.
Charlotte is a proud member of the NELP Staff Association, NOLSW, UAW, LOCAL 2320.
