In Support of Community Hiring and Compensation Standards for Assisted Housing Development Projects in New York City

On October 28, 2024, NELP Senior Researcher and Policy Analyst Hannah Chimowitz testified before the New York City Council’s Committee on Civil Service and Labor in support of a bill, the Construction Justice Act, that would establish community hiring and compensation standards for city-assisted housing development projects.
