On the Importance of Joint Employer Responsibility in Our Federal Labor Laws

On July 12, 2017, Catherine Ruckelshaus testified before the U.S. House of Representatives on the importance of enforcing and expanding joint employer responsibility for firms deciding to contract-out their businesses. Reforms are needed to alleviate the problems that occur when companies skirt employment and labor responsibilities by outsourcing.
